He needed to figure out how to increase the profitability of its sea scallop quota knowing that it is a fixed amount and it is a sustainably harvested species and they were not going to be able to get an increase in their quota. He also needed to increase the efficiency of processing or the shucking of the scallops onboard their fishing vessels.
