Centralized Compliance Delivery
Dylan Jackson is a Compliance Manager for a major global professional services firm and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Earlier in his career, with a different employer, he took a lateral transfer into a new role. Upon starting in that role, he discovered, after an assessment, that the team members reporting to him who lead a group of 20 financial services professionals, were not fit for purpose. Their work was related to compliance and tax returns. There were morale problems in the unit attributed to the quality of the work of the team members and how they managed their subordinates. His challenge was how to fix this problem. Visit casenet.ca for more free, open access decision focused video teaching cases from Acadia University
