Navina Balasingam is the General Manager of Capital Markets Malaysia, a company based in Kuala Lumpur that was set up to promote the Malaysian capital markets internationally and within the country. During Covid, her company was given funding and a mandate to fulfill some KPI’s to promote Malaysian capital markets abroad. Just after receipt of the funding, all travel was shut down. Her challenge was how to spend the money as intended and accomplish the mandated tasks but do so with out being able to travel internationally.
