Alan Stewart is the founder and an owner of Horton Ridge Malt & Grain, a malt house located in the Canada’s Annapolis Valley. Stewart’s company sells organic malt to beer producers in the region. Recently, he decided to add a small brewery and now needs to figure out how to operate without stepping on the toes of the buyers of his company’s malt.
